While Henderson has always been home to casinos and resorts, it wasn’t until the late 20th century that tourism became one of the city’s main economic drivers. Henderson’s one of the most iconic landmarks: Sunset Station hotel-casino. This project spurred additional growth and development in Henderson, which continues to this day.
